ADEPAP is the catalan association of environmental health companies. Its beginning date back to 1977 becoming Spain’s oldest association in the sector.
From the beginning, the association’s main goals were to professionalize, train and introduce the sector to society in general. In recent years, many of the basic criteria that govern the sector have evolved substantially. For this reason, the task the Association has set out since the beginning, today, is fully in force.
ADEPAP is the main association in Catalonia and the sector’s representative with the Public Administration and civil society in Catalonia.
Every ADEPAP member can enjoy the services and advice of recognized institutions with which collaboration agreements have been signed:
ADEPAP throughout its history has been an entrepreneurial association, attentive of everything that happened on its surroundings and that is why we have participated in very diverse activities:
- Precursor of the first collective agreement in Spain.
- Participated in the development of the first “Integrated Combat for Users and Pest Control Companies Action Handbook”
- Founding members of the Pest Control Companies Associations Federation of Spain (FAECP).
As a result of various collaborations, two-sector congresses have been organized and the “Practical guide for pest control companies. Risk prevention for workers and users”, has been written, which is a reference point in the field of risk prevention derived from the use of pesticides.
ADEPAP is represented in all sector’s movements and events of interests: State Collective Agreement Negotiation, Royal Decree 830/2010, CEN which is the first European standard of best practices in the pest control service, among others.
